About
Closet Organization is an informational resource about organizing closets at home. The guides explain how to clear out a closet, how to divide it into zones, how to arrange hanging and folded clothes, where to keep shoes, bags and small accessories, and how to keep the whole closet in order once it is set up.
The site is about storage and order, not about fashion. It does not tell you what to wear or what to buy. It starts from the closet and the clothes you already have and works toward a setup in which everything has a place you can reach and can put back without effort.
What the site covers

What this site is, and what it is not
Closet Organization is general information written for everyday use. It is not written by professional organizers, closet designers, installers or contractors, and it claims no professional credentials of any kind.
The site never states how much weight a shelf, a rod, a hook or an anchor holds. For anything fixed to a wall or hung from a door or a rod, the product manufacturer’s instructions and specifications decide, not this site. Nothing here is a substitute for advice from a qualified professional who can see your home.
How the guides are written
Each guide explains how to look at the closet you have and then how to decide what to do with it. That is the approach throughout the site, because closets differ in size and layout, and so do the clothes kept in them and the habits of the people who use them.
- No single right system. The guides describe options and what each one suits. They do not claim that one way of folding, hanging or sorting is correct for everyone.
- No weight figures. The guides give no load numbers for shelves, rods, hooks, anchors or over-the-door organizers. Those come from the manufacturer of the product you are using.
- Tools and products by type, not brand. A guide may mention slim hangers, a fabric bin or a shelf divider, but it does not name or recommend brands.
- Illustrations, not photos. The images are original illustrations of general ideas. They are not photographs of real closets, and they do not show particular products.
What you can rely on
- We do not publish invented reviews, ratings, statistics or testimonials.
- Sizes, counts and times in the guides are starting points. A guide that suggests a way to space hangers or stack folded clothes also expects you to adjust it to your closet.
- No guide promises a particular result, such as a set amount of extra space.
- Where a shelf, a rod, a hook, a wall anchor or an over-the-door organizer comes up, the guide points you to the manufacturer’s instructions and specifications and states no weight limits of its own.
- Where a cleaning or clothing-care product comes up, the guide points you to the product label and the garment’s care label.
